Southlake Carroll continued its scorching start to the season, dismantling the Byron Nelson Bobcats 52-3 in a powerful road performance. The Dragons asserted their will in all three phases of the game at Northwest ISD Stadium, moving to a dominant 3-0 on the year.

The offense once again proved to be an unstoppable force. Quarterback Angelo Renda orchestrated a masterful aerial assault, connecting with his favorite targets for multiple scores. Renda found a wide-open Blake Gunter for a 25-yard touchdown and hit Brock Boyd for two more, including a spectacular deep strike that left the defense helpless.

The ground game provided the perfect complement, punishing the Bobcats at the line of scrimmage. The Dragons featured a multi-pronged rushing attack, with Davis Penn plunging into the end zone for a 3-yard touchdown and Brooks Biggers adding another score with a tough 2-yard run, showcasing the team's depth and versatility.

While the offense lit up the scoreboard, the Dragon defense delivered another suffocating performance, holding the Bobcats to a single field goal. The unit was relentless, highlighted by a key fumble recovery from William Chen that thwarted a Byron Nelson drive and a crushing sack by Sam Erickson. This defensive dominance has become a hallmark of the team's perfect start.
