Jesuit Rangers football · 2026 season.

The Jesuit Rangers opened their 2026 campaign on the road Friday night, falling 52-24 to a high-powered Sachse squad. Despite the loss, the Rangers showcased early offensive firepower and resilience before the home team pulled away in the second half.

Quarterback J.P. Livingstone provided a quick spark in the first quarter, connecting with wide receiver Joseph Konings on a beautifully thrown 25-yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone. The duo proved dangerous again when Livingstone faked a handoff and launched a 52-yard bomb to Konings, setting up the offense deep in Sachse territory. Jesuit also found success on the ground, punching in a 20-yard rushing touchdown to keep pace early.

Defensively, the Rangers battled against a relentless Sachse attack. Defensive back Andres Vann delivered a key highlight right before halftime, tracking a deep ball downfield and securing an interception as time expired in the second quarter.

Sachse ultimately capitalized on turnovers and explosive plays, pulling away to secure the victory. Jesuit will regroup and look to put one in the win column next week when they host Rockwall for their home opener.
