The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals didn't let a rescheduled start time disrupt their rhythm, jumping all over Fort Worth THESA for a commanding 11-1 non-district victory on Monday night. With impending weather moving the first pitch up at Cat Corden Field, FWC wasted no time establishing dominance, pairing timely extra-base hits with steady defense to secure another blowout win.
The offensive onslaught started early and came in waves. Braylen James was a massive catalyst for the lineup, initially driving a sharp line-drive double to left field to bring Griffin Carney all the way around from first base. Later in the contest, James struck again, launching a triple to center field that easily scored Grady Emerson to keep the pressure on the THESA pitching staff.
Jackson Perdue also delivered a back-breaking blow for the Cardinals, ripping a clutch line-drive double down the left-field line that plated two runs and extended the FWC advantage to an insurmountable 8-0.
