The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals held off a competitive Oakridge Owls squad for a 9-6 non-district victory on Thursday night at Cat Corden Field. Relying on early offensive bursts and clutch defensive execution, the Cardinals maintained their season-long momentum as they prepare to dive back into the heart of their district schedule.
The Cardinals' lineup wasted no time putting pressure on the visitors. Jake Parkerson jumpstarted the run production by ripping a clutch double to left field, easily scoring B Emerson and Braylen James.
