Fort Worth Christian's offense exploded on Saturday afternoon, securing a decisive 13-3 victory over Midland Christian to complete a sweep of their opening TAPPS district series. Following up on a tight 3-1 win the night before, the Cardinals' bats caught fire early at Cat Corden Field, blowing the game wide open and proving their ability to win via offensive fireworks just as easily as in a pitcher's duel.

The lineup was relentless from top to bottom, manufacturing runs and consistently putting pressure on the Mustang defense. Griffin Carney continued his stellar weekend, ripping a sharp line-drive single to left field that plated Jacob Ward and stretched the Cardinals' advantage to a commanding 9-0. Blayne MacDonald also contributed with situational hitting, lifting a well-placed sacrifice fly to left that allowed Jaxon Casselberry to tag up and score.

Lower in the order, Fort Worth Christian kept the line moving. Andrew Ridgell delivered a clutch line-drive single to left field that brought MacDonald across the plate, while Jake Parkerson consistently found gaps, highlighted by a hard-hit ground ball single up the middle. The complete team effort extended FWC's winning streak and pushed their overall record to an outstanding 15-3.

The Cardinals will now take a brief pause from district play as they welcome UME Preparatory Academy to Cat Corden Field on Tuesday evening. FWC will look to keep their momentum rolling before diving back into the heart of their TAPPS schedule.
