Colleyville Heritage engaged in a high-scoring district shootout on the road Friday night, ultimately falling 45-35 to the Argyle Eagles. Despite an explosive offensive output and resilient fight from the Panthers, Argyle's relentless attack managed to pull away to secure the critical victory.
Quarterback Lane Vargas once again spearheaded the Colleyville passing attack with precision. After extending a crucial drive by drawing a defensive pass interference penalty deep in the end zone, Vargas immediately capitalized by threading a 13-yard touchdown pass to reliable target Lucas Sunwall.
