The Southlake Carroll Dragons continued their dominant march through the season, dismantling the Timber Creek Falcons 55-13 on the road Thursday night. Playing at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex, the Dragons asserted their will early and never looked back, improving their perfect record to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in district play.
The Dragon offense was a well-oiled machine, led by another spectacular performance from quarterback Angelo Renda. Renda carved up the Falcon secondary, throwing for four touchdowns. He connected with Brock Boyd for a stunning 53-yard touchdown and found Blake Gunter for two more scores, including a 28-yard strike over the middle and a 25-yard pass in the corner of the end zone.
The ground game was just as potent, providing a powerful complement to the aerial assault. Davis Penn consistently found the end zone on tough, short-yardage runs, while Emerson Ziadie broke the game open with a bruising 59-yard run, showcasing the offense's depth and versatility. The balanced attack kept Timber Creek's defense on its heels all night, cementing another convincing district win for Carroll.
